Your body is constantly trying to reach a PH level of 6. This is a balanced system where your body can operate at its full amazing potential. Like you can wake up without and alarm clock, crush a workout, check off those to- do list items without a sip of coffee, have the time to hang with friends and fam and as soon as that head hits the pillow you're asleep.
Does this sound incredibly unfamiliar? Kind of sad isn't it? Our bodies are naturally supposed to do this but all of the things we love and ---here it comes--- "acidic" foods we consume on a regular basis think bread, sweets, alcohol, coffee are throwing us off balance. UGH I know these are a few of my favorite things. But once I understood the impact they have it made me think about them a bit differently. Like truly enjoying that choc chip cookie and the glass(es) of wine.
SO what's one easy thing you can do Monday morning? Drink a glass of lemon water first thing. That's it. Maybe warm it up a little. I do this every morning and it completely sets off my day to the best start.
